How does the Scrip Card Program work?
You purchase gift cards through St. Mary’s P.T.O which can be used like cash to purchase everyday items like food, clothing, toys, gifts, and even gasoline. Every card purchased has a percentage assigned to the total value. For instance, if a $100 Lands End card carries a 16% profit, then the total profit is $16. St. Mary’s P.T.O has set up a 50/50 sharing program with our families based on that profit. Therefore, $8 would come off the individual family’s tuition and $8 would return to the P.T.O. It is easy to see how quickly this can add up based on typical daily purchases that we all make! *Families will continue to earn the full percentage when purchasing grocery cards to Stop & Shop (5%), Butcher Block (5%) and Big Y (2%).
When and how can I purchase Scrip Cards
Scrip Cards can be purchased every other Tuesday beginning September 7th. A Scrip Cards reminder and order form will be sent home prior to the order date. The Scrip Card schedule and order forms can also be printed from our school website. To place an order, complete an order form and place it in the Westfield Bank zipper bag given after your first order, along with cash or a check made payable to St. Mary’s Elementary School, and the order will be placed for you. Orders will be placed on Tuesday morning and sent home or available for pick up on Friday. Checks will be deposited immediately so that Scrip Cards can be purchased.

*Your total credit will be deducted from your tuition bill twice a year at which time a $5 service fee will be assessed. The funds accumulated can only be used to reduce your tuition. If for any reason your child leaves the school, the funds shall remain at the school.
*Although we try very hard to estimate grocery certificates correctly, there may be times when we run out of certificates. In that case we will fill orders on a first come first serve basis.
