Uniform Information

Beginning April 30, 2011, boys and girls may wear shorts to school. Remember shorts should be no more than 2" above the knee. Shorts are supposed to be Dress Shorts. Large pockets are not acceptable. If shorts do not follow uniform dress code someone will speak to your child.

I would love to see many more students wearing logoed shirts, skirts, or jumpers and dress uniform shorts. A little more expensive? Yes, but so much more uniform and so much better looking. Remember to order new uniforms from Flynn & O'Hara or Lands End.

"A Staff Worth Celebrating"

During the week of May 16-20 we will be celebrating Staff Apprecation Week. We have a wonderful staff of people in our school. There will be several surprises, but on Wednesday, May 18th from 11:30-12:30, the PTO will be hosting a special luncheon. Some other very special Moms will be taking care of the children while the staff enjoys a nice leisurely lunch. Let us be grateful for our great staff. Remind your children to say "thanks" to some very fine educators. We are truly blessed!

A Very Special Day

Congratulations to Grade 2! On Saturday, May 7, 2011, they will receive their First Communion. This is indeed a most sacred and special time in the lives of these children. A special thank you to their teacher, Mrs. Merz, who has done a find job preparing them for this beautiful day. Thank you, too, to Mrs. Kay Mowatt, our Religious Education Coordinator at St. Mary's. May God bless these very special children on this most wonderful day.
