ST. MARY'S FOOD CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
St. Mary's food certificate program for the school year 2007-2008 will begin on Thursday, September 6th.
For those families that are new or have not participated in the past, the following is a brief description of the program. Participants are able to purchase gift certificates in $50 increments from Big Y and Stop & Shop and $20 increments from North Elm Butcher Block. These certificates are used to purchase your groceries in place of cash, checks, debit or credit cards. For every $100 purchased at Stop & Shop and North Elm Butcher Block, participants receive a $2 credit off tuition with the exception of the months of October and April when Big Y will offer a $5 credit. Your total credits will be deducted off your tuition bill twice a year.
You may use cash or checks to purchase your certificates. Checks should be made payable to St. Mary's Elementary School. (Exact amount only). Orders will be taken every other Thursday beginning on September 4th. Please plan on having your checks cashed when they are submitted. Your certificates will be sent home the following day with your child or you may pick them up in the office. Your certificates will be in a plastic Westfield Bank zipper bag with your family name on it. This zipper bag should be used every time you order certificates. There is no obligation to order every time certificates are sold. You may order whenever you choose. The dates on which certificates are to be ordered and delivered will be posted on the monthly calendar you receive. There is $5 service fee which will be assessed at the time that your credits are allocated and reduced from your tuition bill.
For those of you that participated last year please remember to send in your Westfield Bank zipper bag with your order on September 4th.

*The funds that you accumulate can only be used as a reduction on your tuition. If for any reason your child leaves the school the funds shall remain at the school.
*Although we try very hard to estimate correctly there may be times when we run out of certificates in that case we will fill orders on a first come first serve basis.
